In this lecture and Q&A I present some findings from a report that I wrote on post-conflict statebuilding initiatives for the Better Evidence Project (BEP). The BEP is a group of leading academic, practitioner, and funding organisations based at George Mason University in Washington, DC. The goal of the Project is to produce high quality research that can further our understanding of armed conflict and the instruments we have to prevent, reduce, and end it. I attended the launch of the BEP in February 2020 and am extremely proud to have contributed to its noble objectives in my own small way.
